THE PLOT:
In the future, the world is ruled by an unseen dictaor and personal freedom is taken away. An escape rebel meets his only
contact in an underground parking structure. Unbeknownst to them, a group of teens gather in the same structure to play Subterano.
But the unknown person pulling the strings doesn't tell them in this game, when you lose, you die (for real). The group
team up to fight the toy monsters and find a way to escape this deadly game of cat and mouse.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
There are some major character issues in this movie. I don't there be only two members of the revolution, the so-called "Orphans
of the Revolution". Even if the dictator managed to capture everyone in the Rebellion and kill them, more would arise.
Freedom is not something the human race would give up and this security witch, she's a receptionist with dreams of being
Dirty Harry, that kind of comformist I can't stand, just blindly obeys even though it's wrong. Then there's the effects,
keeping in mind this movie was made in 2000 and released in 2003. The effects looked dated. The costumes, the CGI, they
look more like 1987 or 1993. Even in 2000, effects were much better. Dated effect, agravating characters and costumes that
look like Power Ranger rejects. This is a waste of time, and I give it...THE LUMP OF COAL!!!!

ZEDD'S OPINION:
I disagree with Voltron. He does have a point about the characters and the CGI. But I liked the monster costumes, I thought
the design were kind of cool and the story was interesting. I love the dialog, the dialog is what saves this movie. The
bad guy has some funny one liners and so does the Toy Messenger. All and all I had allot more fun watching this movie then
Voltron did and I give it...6 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (Zedd liked the story allot more then Voltron)
+ MOST OF THE CHARACTERS (The rebel was cool)
+ CREATURE SUITS (Zedd liked the monsters more then Voltron did)
+ FLIP-OFFING MESSENGER (We both liked the way Messenger morphed into a bird)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHARACTERS (Certain characters got on our nerves)
- DATED EFFECTS (The CGI and creature effects are dated and looked more like 1993 effects instead of 2003)
- CREATURE (Voltron thought the main monster looked like a Power Rangers reject)
AND FINALLY....
- REBELLION (A rebellion of 1 to 2 won't win)
