THE PLOT:
Robert Toulon the great nephew of the great Puppet Master who fought Nazis with his Puppets in World War II faces a new threat.
A demon named Bael wants the Puppets in his master plot to destroy Christmas along side with his Demonic Toys on loan from
The Master.
But when the Puppets fought back the ensuring fire damages them severly and Robert sets plans in motion to improve them
and stop Bael from destroying Christmas and costing countless lives.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I appeal to Charles Band to take back his franchise before it's totally destroyed. This latest venture has got to be the most
disappointing yet. Full Moon didn't even have anything to do with it. The Puppet and Demonic Toy effects take a major downgrade,
the story is hard to follow. Andre mentioned he had a brother once in the third movie, but he also said he was killed by the
Nazi, so having a great Newphew is impossible. I wish writers would study the material they are working on. Research people,
if you are adaptation something from another medium, research it. Pinhead didn't have the real human hands he did the other
flicks, Blade didn't have those dart things in his eyes. The blade and the hook looked like plastic. I said it before, it's
not the budget is how you use it. This one had the largest budget ever in the Puppet Master or Demonic Toys series put together
and it still was far worse then the lower budget versions. Please Charles take your children back. I give it 5 STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, Charles take back your Puppet Master series or let Zedd and I have it. We can treat it better then the
makers of this disaster ever could. I must admit I love cross overs as much as Zedd but this is a major disappointment to
all fans of both Puppet Master and Demonic Toys. They should be ashamed of themselves. On the positive side, the cast does
a good job. I give it 41/2 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ CROSSOVER (Cool crossover I just wish they did a better job of it.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- STORY (The story is kind of hard to follow.)
- TOY EFFECTS (The puppets and toys took a major downgrade.)
- NEPHEW (If Andre had a nephew, the Puppets would have found before now. Plus Andre said his brother was killed by the
Nazis.)
- BIGGER BUDGET (Means jack and s*** when it isn't used right.)
- WHERE WAS THE ROBOT (Why didn't they have five toys vs. five puppets?)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you do enjoy The Puppet Master or Demonic Toy series or both, then you will be disappointed in this crossover.)
