THE PLOT:
Once again the terrible toy known as Chucky as risen from the grave. Eight years has passed and the new Prisident of the
company that made Chucky wants to resurrect the Good Guy dolls and with a tiny piece left behind in the molten plastic was
all that was needed to start this dance all over again.
Andy is in Military school (don't ask me why.) and Chucky wants two things, revenge and a new body, he picks a young African
American male and no military proticol is going to get in the way of what Chucky wants.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Chucky has always been a cool villain, one of the best next generation slasher, it would be fun to watch Chucky take on Michael
Myers in a grudge match ala FREDDY VS. JASON. But onto the story, I for a party of one don't approve of military school, to
me all it does it march the individuality right out of people and makes them mindless drones ripe to join the army when they
are old enough. That's just wrong, people should choose to join the army and no become mindless drones. The characters are
interesting, Chucky is always good and the Chucky effects are even better in this third installment of the series, of course
as always, if you didn't like the first two CHILD'S PLAY movies, I wouldn't recommend this one. But I for a party of one give
CHILD'S PLAY 3...8 STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd for the most part, the whole army do as I say part of the movie gets on my nerve. I mean, this is a school
not Fort Bragg and these "teachers" are way to hard on children with their stupid rules and regulations. That part
got on my nevers just a bit and I will have to give it a slightly lower grade because of it, 7 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CHUCKY (Chucky is one of my favorite slasher monsters of all time.)
+ STORY (For the most part the story works.)
+ EFFECTS (The blood effects work.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MILITARY SCHOOL (The concept of military school doesn't work. In real life as well.)
- OTHER STUDENTS (The other students are just unlikable.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you didn't like the first two movies, then you probably will not like this one.)
